My experience in proofreading medical publications includes clinical, research and public health journals, reference and multi-author textbooks, educational material, reports and guidelines.

I am familiar with the structure and format of medical research articles, in accordance with the ICMJE recommendations, and ensure that content adheres to individual journals' guidelines and instructions for authors.

In addition to my knowledge of medical terminology and jargon, and experience in both US and UK English, I strive to keep in mind the impact of the language used, in particular the concepts of:
